Accessibility statement
EGI Foundation, which coordinated SPECTRUM, wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or captions. This statement applies to the SPECTRUM project website.
Conformance status
The website is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the level that the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 sets for websites. Partially conformant means that some content, listed below, does not yet meet the standard.
Content that is not yet accessible
- Captions. The recordings of the final event (Brussels, June 2026) and the consultation webinar (December 2025), and the two-minute video on the final results, have YouTube's automatic captions only. Corrected captions for all three are being added.
- Audio description. The one-minute video of the January 2025 all-hands meeting shows its message as text on screen, over music. A text version sits under the video, and a narrated version is being added. The recordings of the final event and the webinar have no audio description of the slides shown in them; the final event's slides are published on its event page.
Content on other websites that this site links to, such as documents on Zenodo and Indico and recordings on other organisations' channels, is outside this statement.

How this statement was prepared
EGI Foundation assessed the website itself in October 2026. Every page was tested with axe-core against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, at desktop and phone widths, including the interactive maps, the search and the menus in each of their states. Keyboard use, visible focus, zoom and reflow, text spacing, motion and what screen readers receive were checked by hand on each type of page. The problems found were fixed before publication.
Directive (EU) 2016/2102 requires public sector bodies to meet this standard. EGI Foundation follows it for this project website on its own initiative, and this statement uses the model the European Commission set out in Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.
This statement was prepared on 18 October 2026 and last reviewed on 18 October 2026.
