SPECTRUM event
Roadmapping for high energy physics and radio astronomy
SPECTRUM's session at the EGI Conference 2024 on the road towards an exabyte-scale data federation and compute continuum for high energy physics and radio astronomy.
- When
- 2 October 2024
- Where
- EGI2024, Hilton Garden Inn, Lecce, Italy
- Format
- In person
- Our part
- Session at EGI2024, with a booth and a poster

The session presented the project and its first findings: the challenges of exascale data processing in frontier research, the development of the SRIDA, the Community of Practice and its survey, and the computing needs of the two communities. SPECTRUM also had a booth and a poster at the conference.
